Former Congressman Mark Cojuangco
insists on road widening of the Rosales to Sison North Road and castigates the
flip flapping decision of DENR in issuing special permit to cut trees in
violation of existing rules/executive orders. What they should do is to
reconcile this seemingly conflicting rules. This is the clash between two
values, the right to life as against these trees at the middle or adjacent to
the road or the love of trees.Balancing of interest should be the utmost
consideration not because of local politics, since, Former Cong. Mark Cojuangco
declared his candidacy as Governor for 2016 in the Province of Pangasinan.
